Another Day

Another busy day.

I was tired today because we were out so late last night. Another scout leader and myself took 7 of our boys to All Star Sports. It was a reward thing so not all the boys from our troop were invited to go. I posted a few pics on my myspace page.

I left the office a little late no big reason just finishing a couple things. I spent quite a bit of time talking to Pastor today though which is nice. It seems like all summer one of us has had something else going on and have not actually talked about upcoming things. This weekend is the "No Talent" Talent show and ice cream social and I am still working on the Fall Fest. I didn't have to be the planner for either but I took each project on as something to keep me busy at the time I needed it and I really think it has helped my frame of mind.

I finally got my reminder cards out for Prairie Land Food today. I normally would have sent them out at least a week ago but I thought I would try sending them out a bit later to see how that worked - deadline to order is Monday. I also finally remembered to pick up my scripts from the drug store. Of course then I took a short nap (not cuz I wanted to because I had really planned to just go to bed early tonight - just because I ate and then sat down). I also did a few things to my dad's computer. Its not quite "right" yet but it will get there. Nothing big just putting all those convenience things on it that ya like is a little bit of a pain when ya get a new or additional computer.

I didn't walk again even though I said I would start again this week. It was just SO hot. What an excuse! I wish I could afford a tread mill then I wouldn't have an excuse would I?

I HAVE to remember to go enroll Alex tomorrow. Time got away from me after work today and I didn't get there before 5. I have the papers all ready and in my purse so surely I will get that done tomorrow. We already have all his supplies bought - all that is left is finding his gym shirt from last year - its even all packed. He didn't need too much in the way of clothes. He has gotten almost a whole new wardrobe over the summer due to growth. We will go again before it gets cool. I cant believe school starts next Thursday - where did the summer go?

I did manage to get signed up for fantasy football today! That should be fun! I had thought it might even be fun to have a couple football Sundays like we used to but I'm not sure where we would go. Hero's wasn't awesome like it used to be when we were there a couple weeks ago maybe Old Chicago? who knows might just stick with dinners out and watching football at home. We (Sharon and I) are currently working on monthly dinners out. The first one will be Friday August 29th at Margaritas. I think the next time will be at Playa Azul no date picked for September yet.

I DID get some fur in today. Not the brown stuff yet though. I almost have the new bears perfected. I will not cut into this awesome fur until I get it right though. I think one more practice bear and I will have it. The stuff I got in today is a beautiful soft short pile black fur. Should make some pretty bears.
